Devizes RFC

Pre season is well and truly back as the lads start to head into their fifth week of training with Director of Rugby Joe Alford and the newly appointed coaching team.  Numbers have been excellent and a first class attitude shown by the lads as they head into a new season in Southern Counties South and Dorset & Wilts North 2.

Devizes will have two pre season fixtures to warm up for the new season, which will kick off on Saturday 8th September.  Before that though, Devizes will travel to Avon RFC on Thursday 23rd August for a 7pm kick off under lights.  A large squad will be taken to Avon to blow away the cobwebs from the summer and put into place some of the elements which have been looked into during pre season.  All Devizes faithful support will be appreciated.

Finally on Saturday 1st September, Wolverhampton RFC will be bringing a coach load down to the Chivers Ground for a 2pm kick off.  Wolverhampton will be bringing both their 1st and 2nd XV squads therefore we will have 2 matches going on, both off at 2pm.

Entry to Devizes RFC home games is FREE, so come on down to the club for a beer and watch some local rugby!
